Marta Llorente is architect and PhD by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in architecture. She is Professor in the Architectonic Composition Department, in The School of Architecture of Barcelona, UPC. Her research and academic activity has been developed in Architectural Theory and she has opened the research and teaching in environment Anthropology at the Architectural School. She is author of several books, articles and working papers about Architectural Theory and women environment and space. She works in collaboration with the School of Psychology, (University of Barcelona, UB), on projects about women mistreatment. She works in two research groups: “Art, Esthetic and Anthropology” and “GIOPACT”.
